I honestly cannot stop bragging about this amazing product! I refuse to use any other topical. I cannot say enough about "The Best Topical Ever"! The name says it all. I have used this product during SRPs, soft tissue lasering and patients who are experiencing sensitivity during prophys or perio maintence appointments. I was not able to tolerate this product and it caused a severe painful reaction in my mouth. A thin layer of the soft tissue inside my mouth flaked off and it was very painful and swelled. After the skin peeled off, which took over a day of time to do, I was left with white patches and sores that hurt. I lost feeling and was numb around my teeth and my tongue for about 3 hours after my teeth were cleaned. I have instructed my periodontist to never use "The Best Topical Ever" for my teeth cleanings or any other periodontal procedure again in the future due to my severe painful reaction to it that also kept me awake at night and rendered it difficult for me to eat or drink anything remotely hot at all.

I have had great success with this product on many patients, but I have had 3 cases where patients had a reaction to the medication and had sloughing of the gingiva, and pain in the area for several days after the procedure. I have had mulitple other patients reports roughness and "tenderness" in the area for up to a week after.

I have had an issue with this topical. It is causing sloughing tissue and a brown necrotic layer of epithelial tissue turning into an apthous ulcer in some cases. I would like to be contacted about this issue.
